The Big Spring Clean Ski Club of Great Britain have organised a litter picking day at Cairngorm (and one at Aonach Mhor) on Sunday 1st June 2008. Please meet at the Ranger Base by the Funicular at 11am where gloves & litter sacks will be handed out. The event lasts until 4pm and there will be free tea and cakes and a prize for the person who collects the most litter.
Hope to see as many members as possible joining in for this very worthwhile event.
Congratulations to Fraser and Scott Buchan for winning the Bairns Bucket and Laddies Cup respectively, to Edward Fletcher for coming 3rd in the Bairns Bucket and to Hector Cowie for coming 2nd in the Scottish Childrens Giant Slalom. Well done to all those other trainees Lewis McWilliam, Angus Gray, Iain and Duncan Coltart, James and David Taylor, Lachlan Cowie, Charles Fletcher, Scott Duncan, and Yandra Banks who took part and did the Club proud. Hopefully full results will be posted on either www.snsc.demon.co.uk or www.britski.org in the next day or two.

The auction of Noel Baxter`s start bib from the 2006 Olympic Slalom helped Cairngorm Ski Club raised over £500 to help with Noel`s training and racing expenses this season.
Many thanks to everyone for their support.
Cairngorm Ski Club was formed in 1971.
Aims: To promote ski racing in Badenoch and Strathspey District and also abroad.
It is also for families who enjoy skiing and socialising together.
Activities include training, social events, speeches, ceilidhs, club racing (for fun), equipment evenings, pizza night at the Tavern and many other fun activities.
